Presentation: "Protecting Public Land: You Can Make a Difference," by William (Billy) Minser, University of Tennessee Department of Forestry, Wildlife and Fisheries.

Billy Minser says his personal and professional passions are native wildlife populations, land conservation, and working to help develop student careers to protect and manage those resources. He has served as advisor for UT's Student Chapter, The Wildlife and Fisheries Society, since 1983. He has helped protect over 100,000 acres working with the Foothills Land Conservancy, Conservation Fund, and state and federal political leaders. Earlier this year he testified before the TVA Board's Community Relations Committee on the importance of preserving our public lands.

Meeting: Election of officers; update and discussion on AFORR's efforts on behalf of the Oak Ridge Reservation, particularly the 3000-acre Three Bend area and the establishment of trails on the Black Oak Ridge Conservation Easement (BORCE).
